This world leading engineering consultancy is actively seeking a Senior or Principal electrical, instrumentation, control and automation engineer. As we are approaching a new AMP period, AMP 8 they’re now looking to expand their team. You will get the opportunity to work on projects with the UK’s largest utility companies and international clients. This role would cover both clean water and wastewater infrastructure.
Some Electrical project items include:
- LV (and HV) power systems, motor control centres, process instrumentation, process automation and state of the art control systems.
- Power systems analysis software.
- Electrical systems modelling
- Using intelligent P&IDs, 3D designs, plant visualization and virtual reality techniques.
Role requirements
- You will have a keen interest the water/ wastewater industry and ideally with experience in this sector already.
- You have experience managing and mentoring teams / individuals.
- Ideally a chartered member of a recognised engineering institution.
Responsibilities
- Technical report writing at all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Liasing with clients within the UK and International.
- Feasibility, outline, and detailed electrical and ICA design work
- Support and/or lead bids, fee proposals.
- Opportunity to present your project work at company meetings or at conferences.
- Working with and developing new automated digital design tools.
